Can Hedgehogs Eat Raisins?

Quilly the animated hedgehog is poised to answer the question can hedgehogs eat raisins

One of Quilly's fans asked, “Can hedgehogs eat raisins?”. New hedgie parents are often nervous about giving their hedgehog foods us humans eat regularly – like raisins. Because a little reassurance can help, it's always better to ask whether certain foods are safe before getting adventurous with your hedgie's diet. Raisins is a great example of one of those “out-of-the-ordinary” foods that hedgies don't typically eat. Let's see what Quilly has to say about whether or not your hedgehog can eat raisins.

    1. Grape seeds have cyanuric acid (aka cyanide) in small amounts. While it isn’t a big deal for humans, a creature as small as a hedgehog may suffer poisoning. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
